Hey, where is everyone? This board is too quiet.

Well, that can knock the wind out of your sails. :censored:

I'm done! It's impossible to root for a team that even get one first down. It's just too depressing.

See you guys in the game threads next year

There's the game. :(

All I can think is to repeat prior comments. The team is mostly raw freshmen. On top of that we’ve been killed by injuries. I have hope for this team in 2019. I’m certainly not in the fire Lovie camp. But otherwise what’s left to say. We’re just not a B1G team right now :-(

That was a horrible defensive alignment on the long run. If you're watching on tv, rewind to that play. It's clear that a run to the right could easily bust for a long one. You could see it before the snap.

There are no more raw freshman by the last game of the season.

Offense was inept, but at least they were trying to mix it up with the pass.

Thomas and the OL just not ready

Fortunately, I missed 3rd qtr due to cable issues :)

OK, what I’ve said before, we have our JV team out there. These guys are going to be battle hardened even next year. Nobody else’s freshmen are going to have seen what our guys have. They haven’t quit. They learn every play. There’s a future for these guys. Today stinks. But it’s fertilizer for tomorrow.

It better be better next year. It's becoming impossible.

Are they running a simplified version of the offense? Should they simplify it? The defense shows glimpses of being fun to watch in a couple of years, but the offense is beyond painful.

Dare I ask, but are McGee and Butkus up to their tasks? Or is it remnants of Beckman “steaks and cakes” recruiting still haunting us?

If you are going to throw a flag on a player for getting hit after the whistle, have the guts to call the original hit.

Or at the very least be smart enough not to retaliate and stick you hand in that players face with the ref standing right next to that player resulting in you receiving a penalty that will do nothing but further hurt your team.

I'm talking about the refs, not an 18 year old kid.
