The expectations were high after early wins over UCLA and Texas, creating the frustration. I think this team is physically more gifted than last years team, but last years team knew who they are. Roles were defined and scoring droughts were minimized by having Kofi . This looks like the downside of the portal. Knowing how to play vs. knowing how to play together.
It probably won’t happen. But maybe we won’t be hearing what a fluke Northwestern is this year and what a crappy coach Collins after this.
