He was a grizzled Senior that knew his role and excelled at it. Miller and Curbelo, as Freshman, are trying to find their way.

Saw that too...but also have seen a ton of deflections off the rim straight to a secondary rebounder....almost always in red. In other words, few that can really be contested or where block out is effective...just crazy bounce right to red guys.

Hard to watch today every road team comes in shoot lights out crazy. Team is just to inconsistent on defense and offense. Hopefully just making tournament will be nice after many years of misery as an Illni fan.

I’m not a basketball mind, so grain of salt and all ... but it seems we’re either in “superstars do their thing” mode or “who’s going to score??” mode. Either one should mean someone else is open.

boy I thought we were past this. I mean I agree with you. But to be at this point and be “good” with 13 point deficits this year. I thought maaaybe Iowa would be the one time we’d be down this big this year.
