Not only are we boneheaded with our play but opposing coaches have totally figured Underwood out. They know our big men cannot pass a lick, and are going to triple team us inside.

If you guys want to put down the pitchforks for a couple minutes....almost every one of these runs or defensive lapses occur when DMFW goes to the bench and Curbelo and CoHawk are on the floor.

Freshhman defense.

Edit: and we can't hit shots while OSU is making everything.
That 10-2 start was largely due to DW mistakes, which is why he got the quick hook. He didn't box out, Young got an offensive rebound and kicked it out for an open three, then he took an Ill advised contested mid range jumper that led to a run out and topped it off by turning it over leading to another run out. Tough start.

Ok that play Georgi got beat on the pass didn’t recover. Then didn’t move for the rebound. I don’t care how nice a guy he is, if he’s not gonna play hard get him out of the game.

I think the problem on offense is ball movement. At some point we seem to revert to iso. Then we get trapped. Then we turn it over.

I'm done with the long leashes. Underwood is not making Curbelo better by allowing him to repeatedly play through making the same turnovers every game.

I think DMW saw that he was nation’s leading percentage in 3s and doesn’t want to affect that

I often like coaches that sit a player immediately after a turnover, especially at this point in the season. You can put them back in after the next break in action. I think it enforces taking care of the ball.
