We legitimately might lose this game. Crazy how things change in 24 hours. I think we all got a little too excited about this team and are getting a dose of reality. Hopefully we can be clutch down the stretch and pull this one out. Either way though win or lose I think we understand now that we’ve got a long way to go to become a champion. Gotta improve as the season goes along and hope that we play our best ball at the right time(the tournament).

Hey...at least we can be almost certain that we’re making the tournament. That in itself is a step in the right direction.

Why does it matter where we're ranked. And I said he goes overboard with it (which he is) not that he can't compliment the other team. Try and keep up.

His point is maybe the other team deserves extra credit for playing the #8 team so tough. Sounds like he's the one keeping up maybe?

My point is the you can give the other team credit without going overboard with it. I'm done going back and forth about this. YOu aren't going to change my mind and I'm not going to change yours.

I was a bit worried about a hangover of sorts, considering this is our third game in three days and we just won by 50+ and averaged 110 ppg ... but I did not think we'd be losing by two right now. Let's kick it into gear, boys! This team is going to upset you if you don't give it your all.

It will be a very good learning experience if we win this playing as awful as we have so far. I keep waiting for the run...I hope.

I'd like to see more feeding the post to GB and Kofi every possession. If they double kick it out. That's what I hope to see.

This game is a long way from over and exactly what this team needs in the way of competition. It won't kill the season in any way and will make them stronger. Who cares if the fans want a 30 pt. win....that is irrelevant. Ohio is playing at the right end of their curve and the Illini are playing very average in a close game. Need to find out if anyone but Ayo can show any guts when it counts.

They played the same two teams. They came with energy . We did not.

No ball movement, ISO D lacking, FT shooting worse than abysmal and we have no answer for Preston. He is a better team player than Ayo. Ayo plays too much ISO ball unlike Preston who passes and uses he teammates for the betterment of the team

Ohio isn’t going away. Like I said at the start this is going down to the wire. All the makings of an upset. Illinois looking frustrated and out of sync. Those first 2 cakewalks were very misleading apparently.
