Only 5 TOs in 1st half for IL. That's not bad for a fast-paced game with lots of subs coming in.

I think the team chemistry already looks better than it ever did last year. Much less making the selfish play, much more making the right play. Much better decision making, better shot selection. Guys diving on the floor getting to all the 50/50 balls. I think we’re going to like this team.

1. Domask is a complete stud, does everything so well. Have a feeling he’s going to be a fan favorite
2. Shooting is miles ahead of what it was last year
3. Unselfish/smart plays all around and so much talent at every position

I’ve been watching the Illini since 1966 and enjoy this board and all the passion from everyone. Glad to be able to listen to the radio broadcast and watch the game. I like the ball movement and unselfishness so far in first half looks like these kids are having fun together. Can’t wait till the Kansas scrimmage.

Overall, I tend to agree with @IllinistuckinGopherland . Ty's been great on the boards, but has been a bit sloppy otherwise and he has struggled keeping up with the Ottawa guards. Not trying to knock him, and I really like Ty, just not all that good a game from him relative to his teammates thus far

Ty is a 3 or 4 and a very good one. Playing him at point will be an Injustice to him and his future. He will be eaten alive by Kansas, Michigan St., Marquette, Tennessee, Missouri guards. I could have kept going. He is a monster 10 ft and in and guarding 3 or 4's, and most importantly Rebounding! We shall see!

To a fault sometimes. But better than playing hero ball. I will take it and hope it gets even better.

Best sign I saw was ball movement and player movement. If that becomes the standard, good shots will abound for all. Especially with the starting five, so much experience and hoops IQ leading to unselfish...and very difficult to defend...offense. PG does not seem to be a problem. All the guys were playing to their strengths with DD and AH looking aware and quick in the scrums. Not sure we want Harris throwing air balls, but his speed, quicks, and defense will be desperately needed. Domask is an impressive player. And lo and behold, CoHawk is putting a little arc on his 3 balls...but needs a bit more.

The only negative is very little competition in spite of how well BU admires their coaching. But it is not needed yet....and will come a week from Sunday.

Hard to complain about much so far

My complaint is that my phone has decided that tonight would be a good time to give me problems. Had to restart it about 5 times, 2 of those it said it couldn't load the system and asked me if I wanted to do a factory reset! Never had a problem with it prior to tonight.

Finally got it to cast to my tv and am listening to Brian and Deon over the phone speaker. Only saw about 3 or 4 minutes of the first half. Keeping my fingers crossed for the second half.
