I have to admit my thoughts about Purdue are directly related to watching their last game vs Nebby....and my thoughts of our Fighting Illini...are of their last two games and them fighting through some early game struggles.
All of us here are aware of how meaningless those thoughts are when two B1G teams collide.
Curbelo back is monumental. I don't care how many minutes he plays. I can't wait for him to annoy all of us with some insane turnover on a pass attempt, followed by blowing our collective minds with an assist no one else could possibly see!

I believe Weber et al. pretty much always bought pizzas for Krush on huge game days/paint the hall orange games. I seem to recall that happening more than once while I was in Krush. They also helped out when we were on our way home from a Krush trip to Penn State and got caught in a snowstorm.
No question if he can play 10 minutes today it is huge because I think he would really help get our wings some open shots. I think we need to shoot 40% from 3 to win.
I have Xfinity and can use that to stream directly through the Fox Sports app no matter where I am. It might work for other cable providers, too. Find the “sign in through provider” or something like that.
If Curbelo is able to merely bring the ball up the floor for us, that is a net positive. Points or assists are gravy, but rest for Trent and alleviating some offensive stress for our non-ball handlers (cough DMFW) is exactly what’s been lacking.

Could be gamesmanship by BU - where Curbelo isn’t playing today, but having him warm up forces PU to spend at least a few minutes preparing.
Probably a good sign overall though. If he doesn’t come back today, it could be soon.
If its any consolation, my son is a Purdue alum and a huge Purdue fan and he hates Borowski & co. as much as we do. This officiating helps no one, but does increase the randomness of the final result.
Side note, my son is still a big Illini fan. We went to the 2005 National Championship game together when he was 14.
