Underwood needs to keep these 7 minute scoreless runs to never happen. Draw up a play. light a fire. Inexcuseable at this level

Not on Underwood whatever. His guards need to make shots. Period. I don't give him credit when they go wild like they did vs Minnesota, Missouri, Arizona, etc, just like you can't pin the poor shooting on him either. Everything looks good when the ball goes through the hoop.

As far as the flagrant, perhaps I missed something Payne did, but all I've seen on replay was Stefanovic throwing and elbow?

Keeping to 11 is a small victory. Game over unless Trent, Plummer, and Grandy go crazy from the arc. Letting Edey go one on one will not work into any Illini victory over Purdue....but doubling him leaves an open shooter which can be suicide. They are simply tough to beat against our personnel unless our shooters can hit shots all game long. Shooters are the King of Battle (I am an old Field Artillery Officer, so you should understand that analogy). Belo's play was good to see....and was a plus, showing good judgement. Love to see it. Purdue is definitely unique...but they are beatable.

Payne threw a bow, smart (though ethically ambiguous) play by Stefanovic to instigate it since Payne has a history in that regard.

This is something. These aren't small droughts either. This is consistently going roughly ~25% of a basketball game without a point.
We are by default spotting teams 10-15 points.

The good news: I haven't been able to watch any of this game since the 10-0 run

The bad news: It was followed by a 17-2 against us and the reason I can't watch is because my kids are being absolutely awful.

Well, yeah, you'd be adding 9 points to our total and we'd only be down two. Making three vs missing three is a big deal.
