Game Thread: Illinois vs Southern Illinois

[TooHot4Tots]

Turnover here be good to boost D confidence

[88_ILLINI]

Really bad 2 minute offense

[TheChief4Life]

There is definitely some statistic somewhere that shows that our offensive and defensive play have been indirectly related this season…

[Fly Illini Fly!]

Poor drive there in the 2 minute drill.

[phats22]

feagin looked pretty natural catching that one

[Illini-Rule]

and would have been nice if Clement committed to blocking someone, anyone

That's at least twice be has missed a block on screen today. Also, wtf was Lunney calling on that 2 minute drill offense?

[Boricua Illini]

feagin looked pretty natural catching that one

he did.,,, but needed to stay inbounds there

[Fly Illini Fly!]

Go for the Hail Mary.

[TheFlyingIllini1317]

This team is not smart nor dependable

[aaeismacgychel]

Catch interference

[IlliniWu]

Dixon’s versatility is actually absurd. He started out as our slot receiver his freshman year.

Now he’s our X receiver.

Its going to help his NFL stock a ton. He can play any WR position. I'm interested to see just how his stats wind up because he's on a torrid pace. Next week is big against OSU and national perception.

[88_ILLINI]

Let's try our best 2 minute drill - hail mary

[LFOD]

Hail Mary?

[phats22]

Edmunson (45) has been around the ball on D, seems like hes playing fast(ish). good to see

[aaeismacgychel]

Wow. Really well designed 5 second route

[LFOD]

Which clock.. sorry

[fuddrules]

Robert is tickled that Illinois ends the half with a point total starting with a 3 instead of a 2.

[skyIdub]

20 second offense:

[Illini-Rule]

Why didn't we do that the series before?

[phats22]

Which clock.. sorry

[TheChief4Life]

Again, that was a perfect 11-second drive. What was going on in the last two drives?

[aaeismacgychel]

Really good job by Lunney getting 3pts there

[LFOD]

Nice drive

[redwingillini11]

I haven’t been able to watch. How bad is it?

[zentrails]

Really bad 2 minute offense

Followed by an absolutely fantastic 11 sec drive! LOL
