The inability to get a push on short yardage is EXTREMELY concerning. Also, why are we not using a massive QB to rush on short yardage?

With the supposed difference in talent it shouldn't matter on these short distances. It sure looks like if we swapped both o and d lines with uab we would have a better team. We shouldn't have to out scheme uab.Why our running game is so predictable

I do feel like a QB sneak has a much better chance of succeeding than giving their D line a few seconds to penetrate our line.
Wrong evaluation, because our defensive backfield is the strongest position group on the roster.
The problem is we can’t stop the run, due to our lack of talent on the DL.
In past years we haven't been good at inside zone because of our OL personnel....what's the excuse this year?
