Not OSU's style of play in my opinion. Now Oregon... Yeah, that's a team that is made to run up the score.

This defense ain’t it

Two things will handcuff the defense this season. The interior DL is just not big and strong enough to handle top level teams. And the defensive backfield has taken a step back over the past two seasons...not at all surprising given the former Illini talent they have sent to the NFL.

But the offense looks like they will do some scoring once again. Houser is a pretty cool and efficient passer and, of course, Valentine and Laughery can run if the holes are there. Houser could really light up the scoreboard if he had the receiving corps that Altmeyer had a couple of seasons ago. But it should lead to a lot of close but high scoring games, and a battle for 5th or 6th in the B1G.
