For those who keep saying VCU's speed is cooking us offensively, I mean they have a total of about 6pts due to their speed. All of the rest is either putbacks, stepback threes, or turnovers... I really think people are seeing things based on their preconceived biases here. VCU has a total of 28pts on a lot of guarded shots. Limit the turnovers, clean up on the boards, win this half and move on.

I’ve kind of thought all year that Drej was the one guy who could individually save us in a game if nothing else was working. But let’s get some other stuff working, guys
He's also the best guy to be able to take 3-4 uncalled fouls without losing the ball, then finally getting one called, often for an and 1, I think (OK hope) he breaks 30 tonight easily

Tough physical D really flusters Wagler. And everyone else I guess, except AS
Would love for him to stay another year with Fletch and get stronger and add another 10 to 15 lbs of muscle. But as a lottery pick he is gone it is shame he will probably be regulated to the bench another year of playing and getting stronger will do him a world of good.

Keaton has finally hit the freshman wall. He absolutely still belongs on the floor, he'll catch his 2nd wind soon. Then watch out, he just need to get feel back.

Now let Andrej work until they stop it, then send in The Mirk to take over

Keep winning the boards battle get stronger and nastier with the ball cut the turnovers out now. Make some 3s and try and limit the Hill kid to 2s not 3s and we will win by 15. If we have any lapse in effort or intensity and make mistakes this game can end not our way.

I don’t think he’s playing any differently than any other time. He’s just getting the hell beat out of him and he physically isn’t able to respond at this stage of his development.
Defensively, he's blowing switches, biting on jab steps and seems a bit unaware. Another poster said it perfectly. He's flustered.

Offensively, they missed a foul call, but he wasn't strong enough to finish(per Grant Hill, not me) and he's missing open looks.
