Agreed. I have my Kansas and Arizona friends lighting me up right now.

They did say that our program is much to good for this so the perception is still that we should be good.

So if you're Whitman what do you do? Honestly. Great incoming class. Horrific coach, even with total homers like Robert dumping on him. Pathetic effort and fan base already quitting. Should he line up a Lovie type hire before he fires him? Or can his worthless butt now and start from scratch?

I hate being an Illini fan! Too much disappointment!

losing in itself isn't the problem, this team is clearly more talented. but the lack of effort and preparation is very disheartening as far as JG goed

I posted the other days fans thoughts on John Groce. No one can believe he has a job but other B1G fans are rooting for him to keep it

If Chris Peterson can be pried out of Boise State, surely Gregg Marshall can be pried out of Whichita St. That game is almost over, can he conference call Groce right now?

What would be the path of succession if Groce were to be fired? It should just be Walker but you want to keep him around as an assistant next year perhaps.

Koch brothers won't ever let that happen by school like Illinois.

If UNC or Kansas came calling I doubt they could stop him then. But he ain't leaving there for Illinois
