I'd throw in the freshman for a few just to spice things up and see if he has a fire under him this team needs but thats just me....

Hey! I just went outside! The sky is still there!

As bad as this is, this is what most expected. Just goes to show how important the Winthrop game was for those who said it wasn't that bad of a loss.

Don't understand why Groce doesn't give TJL a chance, Tate and Abrams both struggling to take care of this press. TJL at least brings a threat to hit an outside shot...pathetic.

On the positive end, Black is looking like he could be a monster this year for us. Seems to be the only guy who is playing with any type of aggression.

Black trying to get a fire lit. Finke seems clueless against this pressure.

We need to attack for layups vs the press. Quick jumpers get you killed

At the end of this season, I believe this will be the game that people look back on and say "that game sealed the deal and got John Groce fired."

Pretty much what I was thinking if this keeps up. Winthrop, Chattanooga, North Florida...people could handwave those away as flukes or whatever. But now we're getting completely outclassed by a team where we should be in year 5 of the Groce experiment. No one can excuse this game away if we do get destroyed like we are.

If we had the Winthrop refs their whole team would have fouled out by now

That always seems to be the case with WVU. They get away with more slaps, hand checks and body fouls than any team in the country.

I wish we were hitting FTs like we did a couple years ago. What happened to those FT shooters.

#113
We look a little better with black and Finke on the floor at the same time.

#114
WTF. Finke and black carrying the load and now they get pulled. I'll never get our rotations.

#120
Well considering they won't call a body foul...

Passing beats pressure not dribbling. When they have moved the ball quickly by the pass they have good looks and scored. When they have dribbled we have ended up with contested shots. Simple basketball.

I'd run some zone offense vs this and see what happens in the half court.

#125
The fact that as a senior Tate doesn't know that with 10 seconds left in the shot clock we DON'T want it in his hands is ridiculous.
