I believe a poster or 2 suggested earlier in this thread that we shouldn't be worried about him and that he wouldn't play at UI. Not only would he play, he'd be our starting PG. Kids is a stud. Period.

Some of the points of emphasis I like, but the arc under the basket is a little too big for my tastes. And these refs tonight are also just, uhm, delicate?

Has a lot to do with the way the game is being called. Barely resembles 21st century basketball.

Well have a four point lead going into half. Need to come out with the energy and play we did the first four minutes. The bigs have to play better. Have to play better help defense and move with their feet. Get position with lower half dont use your arms. Tracy has been really good with game along with Malcolm. Tate hasn't been bad either. Need to get JCL going.

Gotta slow Johnson down. I honestly wonder if Tejon would be able to stay in front of him better. Not sure it's worth the risk to try though. Guy is so quick.

Illinois has 12 turnovers I think got to control the ball better.

The Referees are whistle happy causing a great deal of confusion.

Oh, most definitely. It's ugly ball to begin with and the stripes won't let the game flow long enough for anybody to get rhythm.

The way the game is today, I do not see any reason to have any big men on the team.Ball handlers and shooters is all it takes.

I'm all for cleaning up travelling and carrying, but some of this crap is ridiculous. How can you get into a flow?

Leron Black is in preseason form.

Whoever said that we should have walk-ons better than Johnson is demented.

Gonna be a tough one.
