If you're upset that we lost to Iowa State the morning after taking the #1 team in the country (after Sunday) to the wire, then you have unrealistic expectations for this team. We have some legitimate B1G talent for the first time in a while. Let BU coach em up a little more and by the end of the year, we'll be a borderline NIT team. NCAA team next year and on into infinity. Tonight we hit shots and win by 8. ILL

I hope everyone stops freaking out after seeing Iowa State romp San Diego State. It’s clear that they are a tournament team and probably a Top 25 team especially with all the players they’re missing. We also took a team to the wire that Duke couldn’t even beat, and oh by the way we had a chance to win it too.

Thank you! The ridiculous expectations for this team and the record after playing Gonzaga, Iowa St and Xavier (future) is mind-numbing. We lost a Gtown game without Frazier. Looked great for 3 of the 4 halfs in Maui. Chill people.

If you want to see why we struggle look no further. From the recruiting class of 2015 and 2016 we have lost underperforming players in JCL, DJ William's, Darius Paul, and TJL. Kipper and AJ remain, both have had a pedestrian career so far. Losing Black and Ebo with eligibility left didn't help.

Going forward need to keep our players around. Current Fr/So group is solid, just mature.

This will hopefully help Kipper and the team. I hope he responds in a positive way as he has so much potential and seems to be such a good kid.

What specific expectations are you and others referring to? I don’t recall seeing anyone screaming that we should be 4-0. We won the game we should’ve and due to Trents performance gave Gonzaga a real scare, which likely exceeded most expectations.

I don’t believe it’s unreasonable to expect much better defense and offensive execution, if you’re willing to except that you set very low expectations for this team.
