If we’ve been in the Championship game 1/3 of the years since 2000, I feel that’s reason to celebrate the B1G.
Sure, it’s been a long time since one of us has won the whole thing, but being a participant in 33% of this millennium’s games definitely puts a dent in the “Big 10 isn’t the basketball conference it used to be” argument.

Duke isn't the same Duke during the Coach K days. This Duke team was missing something. They got lucky that Shead got hurt b/c there's no way they were beating Houston with a healthy Shead
I disagree. The Alabama-UNC and Alabama-Clemson games were very fun, close, and high scoring affairs
But, if we're talking about a feel good story, absolutely, NC State takes the cake. DJ Burns and DJ Horne have just run rough shot on these two tournaments. It's been a fun ride and you can tell they are playing so loose and with house money
Nothing wrong with being wrong. Nobody thought they'd get to this point. I thought Texas Tech would eliminate them in the Round of 32 and they certainly shocked Marquette to get to the Elite 8. I wasn't surprised with them beating Duke though
Not sure about the Purdue hate, their Coach has always been a class act. They surrround their giant with tough players. I have Connecticut winning in my bracket but I didn't like the mocking their players did once they had the game in hand. Hope Purdue wins, a Big Ten hasn't won since 2000. Will be good for conference as well, imho.
NC State 6-9 350 lbs PG had an awesome game yesterday. I haven't seen that passing ability mixed with finesse and size at the college level since the 1979 tourney.

If you have an Athletic subscription, Dana O’Neill has a very good profile on Matt Painter.
I know the rivalry is there with Purdue, but it’s pretty hard not to like and respect Matt Painter. He seems to be the anti-Danny in terms of humility and treating people well.
