I think I've watched more live TV in the past 3 weeks than I had in the previous 3 months, and though the tournament is over, there are some things for sure that I will gladly say goodbye to... the commercials.

"Don't let me goooooooooooooooo"

"What a pro wants, what a pro needs"

"Get back, get back, you don't know me like that"

About the only one I am not remotely sick of is the Arnold Schwarzenegger State Farm ad.

Phenomenal UConn performance the last 2 years. Really unprecedented this level of dominance every game. They’ve covered the spread in every NCAA tourney game the last 2 years.

They got athletes, they play smart, and have multiple ways to beat you.

Purdue rode their 1 dimensional team as far as it could take them.

Overall I’d say this tourney (outside Illini getting to E8) was one of the most boring ever. I don’t recall even one buzzer beater.

Just hearing the story of Hurley, I like him.

Seeing his facial expressions and overall antics make me not like him at all.

Grown men shouldn't act like that, ever. (Same goes for Underwood or whoever)

Can't stand the smugness of the Purdue players (Loyer, Edey) and their incredibly annoying and insecure fanbase. So while I don't like Hurley either, let's go UCONN. At least we'll have lost to the eventual national champion...
Lol. Don't walk past any mirrors today.

I like how Hurley didn't turn away the comment about being in the same conversation of Wooden and Coach K...

You're not that guy yet!
Danny Hurley is a great coach. If you don’t think so, just ask him. He’ll tell you while also telling you the world is out to get him.

What’s very clear to me is that the last thing that Dan Hurley and UConn fans need is anything more to brag about. Can’t wait for them to go back into oblivion as a program. Never seen a group get so full of themselves so quickly. I’m also glad I don’t live in the Northeast and have to deal with any of them on a regular basis.
They have a much better chance to be a Blue Blood then going in to oblivion. Six titles in 25 years. That is impressive. Especially when compared to the Big , which has one in the same time span.

Edey had a very silent 37 points. He went a very long stretch late in the first half to around the middle of second half without scoring. That is when the game was lost.

The supporting cast for Purdue was virtually extinct. You are right...Loyer literally went scoreless. Outside of Edey and Smith, Purdue only scored 11 points. That is insane!
Similar to our game - we lost the game in a 7 minute stretch to start the second half - it was over because of that stretch alone.

Outside of that stretch the game was tied - crazy, but that’s what UConn does. similar to what we would do to lessor opponents

Houston - Duke was exciting and had the right outcome.

If you want a good chuckle - go read the way too early top 25 on ESPN - ranking Purdue at 6 and UCONN losing their top 6 in the top 5.
Karaban will be back for UConn.
Castle only shot 28% from 3 this year. He might return. Clingan also possible.

Depending on how much those guys like college, want to go for a 3 Pete, and what they could be paid to stay another year I don’t think UConn will be that down.

Loyer ended with 0 points. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy :)
Painter needs to go after an athletic wing with size. In the to early top 25 Purdue is ranked 6. There is not way they sniff 20 with the lineup they have them going in with. Loyer was and is not the answer for that team. Barto got it pretty much spot on. He said UCONN's guards would make the difference.

I actually like Dan Hurley but I wonder how many techs he would get if he looked or sounded like Underwood instead of an accountant.
I respect his coaching ability, but he is a Grade A jerk. Despite his success, I’m not sure I’d want my son to play for him if he was an elite-level recruit. At the very least, I’d sure have to hold my nose and consistently ask my kid if he’s being treated in an acceptable manner.

The thing about UConn is they don't stop. On offense they move the ball until they get a good shot, and they very rarely take bad ones. They don't commit many turnovers. On defense they pressure the ball, don't give up easy baskets and don't give you many second chance points.

Will be interesting to see what Purdue looks like next year post Edey.

I really like Smith but can he be your team’s alpha at 6’ 170 and without Edey consistently drawing double teams?

Heide and Colvin are plus athletes with size, maybe they each take a leap next year. And maybe Catchings makes an impact. But Loyer and TKR Don’t scare me at all.

BIG will be wide open next year. If we reload in the portal no reason we can’t compete again.

I never want to hear Chet Holmgren sing again.
It's like watching "The BFG: The Musical*.
