Mizzery plays no defense
Saint Louis was 2nd in the country last year in 3pt percentage.Caught end of the half SLU starting hot (9/16 from 3) have a solid 11pt lead going into half
Sounds vaguely familiar.Saint Louis was 2nd in the country last year in 3pt percentage.
They're a threes and layups team.
Crazy that *Purdue Basketball!* is the same as friggin' *Arizona State Basketball!* at least by this measurement.Agree could be a big part of it. He can't play the game with a budget ranking last in Big Ten. Like it's not even competitive. For reference , the Illini budget is THREE times of Purdue basketball. Unless they upgrade that NIL budget substantially.....he's gotta get out. I think he's got another 10+ good years left in coaching. Serious reservations that's at Purdue w/o a huge increase in NIL budget
He's getting a DePaul budget. And being expected to competitive in Big Ten. ....

Painter's been in this league for too long and had too much success for me to doubt him. I'll just be happy to get the wins we do get for now.I think the issue is Paint doesnāt want to play that game. Itās adapt or die in modern college sports, and heās had the luxury of not having to adapt last 6 years.
Agree heās a great coach but heās not going to sustain his level of success if heās unwilling to play the game at least a little bit.
Had a very good second overtime.JT Pettigrew with a monster 3 pointer late.
That was a heavy UM studio, lord. I wonder how they scout - Jamaal Mashburn has some of the worst takes I've ever heard. Most recent was that Cooper Flagg would go 6th in last years draft.TNT game halftime
They have Chris Webber, paid cheater for Michigan, Jamal Mashburn, ( paid cheater for Kentucky?), Jalen Rose caught in crack house and Bruce Pearl ( need I say more). What kind of panel is this for TNT for the Michigan-UCONN game.
Personally see Painter's deep tourney runs coming to a dramatic pause, at least for awhile. Him digging out 3* in the cornfields and developing them won't work in today's landscape. They're just not throwing enough $$ at good players.Purdue plays Illinois St next.
Not a particularly bad opponent (#110 on Kenpom).
Hines was incredibly ineffective. Even when not fouling, he looked half a coma out there and couldn't even rebound.Really think the Najai Hines love affair, including on this board, needs to calm down until he can remotely show hes capable of avoiding foul trouble.
Maybe he just doesnāt fit in our offenseā¦.
he was a dawg and wanted him to stay but happy for him now. go get it!Some of us will always be in Brandon Lee hive...
we had many on this board say "if he (Lee) was playable last year then he would have played."
gonna be a lot more of these kids tbh. Our talent level is going up, therefore theres gonna be some guys who dont play who can absolutely play.
