Again, it would be way worse than a "proper" renovation, but IF it's determined that we simply cannot fix the SEZ in some "transformative" way ... why on Earth wouldn't we just at least do this:
(A) Fill in the front of the Horseshoe with permanent seats to bring the stands to field level. This simply cannot be that hard or expensive, lol ... the ONLY reason not to do it is if there's no need for a temporary solution because something even bigger and better is coming, but we always find ourselves still waiting. That fixes the problem in the front.
Before
After - I really do think that makes a pretty huge difference in making the stadium look more complete, but I get I care more about that than some.
(B) Since the new scoreboard is already going a LONG way toward providing the SEZ with more height to both look better and help trap noise, just find something to fill in the extra space on either side!!
Current Plans for New Scoreboard (Approximate size based on other renderings ... wasn't skillful enough to incorporate the curvature

)
This is the part I am not skilled enough to render, but a lot of things could be thought of. Some type of sturdy structure that could have banners hung across it to create a wall. Maybe our claimed National Championships?
