it will take a little more than a garden variety DUI to get Few fired. Its a private school .Reverend Powell, your table is ready
Gonzaga won’t can him, but I would love if they did so I could say “they had a Few.”Gonzaga coach Mark Few reportedly facing DUI charge after blowing .120

100% true. It'll take a lot more; I was being facetious. But I'm sure a suspension will be in order, giving Powell the chance to have the reins for a couple gamesit will take a little more than a garden variety DUI to get Few fired. Its a private school .
It's the type of thing that gets you fired if the school already wants a way out of your contract, which is about the furthest thing from Few's situation. As much as I abhor drinking and driving, how many coaches with seemingly squeaky clean images and records have gotten fired over one DUI?
I get guys who have a history of any sort where you can call the dui the straw that broke the camels back. But afaik few doesn’t have any of that.
They also have a new AD, really putting him in a tough spot early on in his tenure. It's the type of thing that gets you fired if the school already wants a way out of your contract, which is about the furthest thing from Few's situation.
Correct me if I'm wrong. If you don't blow you go to jail regardless. The title says he was 'cited' not arrested. If he hadn't blown he would've gone to jail. Since he did he is only being 'cited'.he should have NEVER blown .
deal with the consequences of that & what that means , but leave your attorney something to work with
without a breath number that gets known & publicized , keep it a he said/ cop said thing & deny , deny , deny . now everyone knows he had a .12
that’s 4-5 drinks
never incriminate yourself .

They can get your blood if you refuse the breath test, but it isn't a finger prick, it's a blood draw - and they must obtain a warrant (they'll get it)Depending on the state, refusal is admittance. Regardless when you get booked they can even take a finger prick if they want. It's still a smart move because unless you're dangerous they often won't want to go through the hassle.
Also, in Illinois I believe an automatic 12-month driver's license suspension kicks in if you refuse to blow, which is enough to get a lot of people to take their chances.Depending on the state, refusal is admittance. issued a citation for dui is the same as arrested for dui , ie same crimeCorrect me if I'm wrong. If you don't blow you go to jail regardless. The title says he was 'cited' not arrested. If he hadn't blown he would've gone to jail. Since he did he is only being 'cited'.
How about some root cause analysis? Don't drink and drive?he should have NEVER blown .

Imagine being insanely rich and not hiring a driver after you've been drinking. And this guy is one of the best coaches in America. It's mind-boggling.How about some root cause analysis? Don't drink and drive?
I agree 100% . I don't drinkHow about some root cause analysis? Don't drink and drive?
Cops saw him zig-ZAGing and pulled him over. They suspected he had a Few too many. They made him walk 10 steps heel to toe. He completed the first six, but stumbled on the final four.
