As far as thread hijacks go this has to be the best though.
O'Malley's? I was a regular for the MNF quart per quarter clubI drank ( the wall ) somewhere and got a tshirt, can't for the life of me remember the bar. Any help? Lol.
Progressive pitchers anyone? Friday from 11- noon, 50 cent pitchers, went up 50 cents/hour, until peaking at $2 or $2.50 (this was mid 80's), I remember hustling out of Chem class to get there by 11:55.O'Malley's? I was a regular for the MNF quart per quarter club
Not sure Beam and Miller would get along.....perhaps in limited situations.Adam Miller?
Gets a little out of control sometimes......and can chuck it up on occasion.5* big man....Jim Beam....smooth, great shot taker
On the contrary, the book on Miller is 'great at following shots' and that should help us clean the glass. Not sure Beam and Miller would get along.....perhaps in limited situations.

I could definitely see some court time with that combination. On the contrary, the book on Miller is 'great at following shots' and that should help us clean the glass.
Cochrane's (not CODs), on Wright North of Follett's. Opened in 78 or 79. Four levels, quiet but not too quiet. To each there own - I liked the multiple floors/levels of clybournes - but I spent quite a bit of time at Joes/KAMS myself
When I was there it changed from Cochrane's to Orchid to Tonic. Wright and Green. It was the most "city kid" bar on campus.Cochrane's (not CODs), on Wright North of Follett's. Opened in 78 or 79. Four levels, quiet but not too quiet.
Eddie's, Deluxe, and Mabel'sI always felt like Clybournes was underrated
My favorite the Volcano!
So did Kenny Battle since he was in DeKalb and not Macomb.S
Somehow I missed that one, but not for lack of trying. Back to recruiting.
With a potential logjam of wings (already have Tevian, Alan, Kipper) to play the 3 and 4 spots next year, and if the staff wants to add two more wings like some have said here, that would make 5 players fighting for playing time at two spots. I don't know why two more players, Archie and someone else similar, would join. I don't know how the staff will sell playing time.
If someone like Patterson or K. Walker joined who might be considered a one and done, that could further deter Archie. Unless he is fine with a "sit-out" type of year.
On the other hand, if Archie jumps to take a spot, might that discourage others such as Patterson, Walker, or even Brown?

Little Kings night.....3/$1.25. I remember when we broke the record for cases served in a night....beating a bar at tOSU which was 650 cases. I think Cochran’s served over 1000 cases. Many brain cells ago...Cochrane's (not CODs), on Wright North of Follett's. Opened in 78 or 79. Four levels, quiet but not too quiet.
I like the direction we are heading too! AZHO, sounds funny while typing it. lolThis board is truly an amazing group. In about a week we have gone from complete despair with no hope for the program to a position where we may need to decide which two Five Star wings we will have to turn down. All this with a tour of every sleezy college bar in the Midwest thrown in too.
