So...how many more losses can we afford if we want a 1 seed? I’m thinking 1, MAYBE 2 max (if the second one is in the BTT finals). But I feel like we might either need to win out the regular season or win the BTT.
Win out but lose to OSU and get to the finals of the BBT with a win against either OSU or Michigan should work

I may have missed this somewhere else in the thread, so sorry if this is old/redundant, but according to ESPN.com we have 4 games in 8 days starting coming up
@Minn 2/20
@MSU 2/23
vs Neb 2/24 - fightingillini.com has this as TBD 3/2 - 34
@Wisc 2/27

No scUM reschedule on either site.

The Nebraska game is moved, so it's just the 3 consecutive road games. After that the only games left are Nebraska, @OSU and @Michigan.

Is there any sign the Michigan game will actually be scheduled?

The prevailing thought is that the reason Nebraska isn't locked down yet is to give Michigan a chance to schedule the game vs Illinois on either the 2nd or 4th of March. However, it's on Michigan right now to make up 5 games, so the rest of the league is kind of waiting on them.

It would be nice if Michigan loses their next game. I think it would put some more pressure on them to reschedule. The only way I think the fewer games played helps them is if they have a two loss advantage.

Juwan Howard and Michigan players don’t want to make up all games but do want to play Illini... supposedly.

Perhaps Michigan only plays 17 or 18 games instead of 20. Other Big Ten teams may also come up a bit short of the original target. This college basketball season, that’s not a failure and barely registers as a disappointment. It’s inevitable.

It's not inevitable. Half the league didn't have to postpone games. Unplayed games should be forfeits, period. Play on tired legs or take an L.

Michigan really would love to play us on the 24th/25th. I hope we tell them to get bent. They are the catalyst for this and we could have both played on 4 days practice. Bunch of whiners.

Over the last couple of years, we have ended a lot of absolutely obnoxious streaks. Are there any more out there?

The Streak Busters™ have done an amazing job the last two seasons. Here are some streaks that we can end by winning our remaining games:

- 2-game losing streaks overall to MSU and OSU
- 2-game losing streak at Minnesota (last win was in 2016)
- 3-game losing streak at MSU (last win was in 2015)
- Have not beaten a top 5 Big Ten team on the road since ... 1982!! when the unranked Illini won 64-57 at #5 Minnesota. :oops:

Let's do that last one twice to make up for all that time!

Zags and BYU are already openly discussing skipping the WCC tournament to mitigate risk of injury, bad loss, and infection going into the NCAA tournament.

I expect BU and Ayo will want to play in the B1G tournament no matter what (and chase that B1G championship). But there might be good reasons for us to follow suit. Taking it to another level, do we play in the tournament if our main competition sits out and makes the path to the ship that much easier? There might be some tough decisions to be made in the next few weeks.
