Agree completely — especially concerning his age. I just don’t think future development in college will be enough to offset him being 23 if he stayed around next year. The way he is playing now, this is the year he’ll have the greatest draft potential. And as I’ve mentioned before, he can develop his game beyond college.
Outside of "film makers" in the San Fernando valley, I don't think anyone is more intent on employing teenagers than the NBA. lol

99.99 % sure Ayo will leave & go pro after the season

99 % sure Kofi will as well

so , yea , I guess there is a chance both or either could stay , but HIGHLY unlikely .

next years team will be way different .

So if you are Michigan you get to pick your schedule? They weren't even scheduled to play msu twice.

They actually were. Currently still scheduled to play MSU on 3/7. Were also scheduled to play MSU on 2/6, but that was postponed.

For anyone interested: Ayo will be on 670 the score shortly. If you can’t listen live I know you can listen back on Radio.com. Parkins and Spiegel show.

I see Ayo going in the mid to late 1st round and Kofi having a decent chance of being chosen late in the 2nd round. If Kofi doesn't go in 2nd round, I can definitely see him becoming a UFA and honing his skills in the G league. Or is it the D league? Lol
I don’t know. He’s looking a lot more athletic this year and has been a great rebounder and two way player in a tough conference. His hands are better, he’s more explosive, he’s disciplined on defense. I think first round is realistic. I was surprised Meyers Leonard was picked in the first. I think Kofi is a better prospect this year than Leonard was when he was drafted. Then again I thought Cook was under drafted and expected a much better NBA career.

Leonard's shot was what the NBA loved seeing. Premier athleticism,

Kofi's going against the current grain in the NBA but I think he'll get drafted and make someone happy. The right coach can really use him. As much as people like to talk about centers who can hit longer shots, there's also a lot to be said to guys who can punish down low. If you could mix the two on your team you can create match up problems.

I agree there are still guys like DeAndre Jordan and Steven Adam's which I think are pretty good comps for Kofi. They very much have a role in the current NBA landscape.

Use this as a reference: https://fightingillini.com/sports/mens-basketball/schedule/2020-21

The exact date of our second Neb game hasn't been set yet. There has also been no official announcement of a potential Michigan reschedule yet. Aside from the Minnesota game (which is almost certainly happening tomorrow as scheduled), the other three games could potentially move around a bit to accommodate the two reschedules.

Why I’m the world would Michigan not have to play a game on the 23rd? Everyone else is having to cram in every other day games to accommodate them MSU and Nebraska but they don’t have to? Northwestern has that date open with no games before or after.

Not that I think NU would beat them but the fact that they don’t even have to do the same brutal travel schedule is hypocrisy at its finest by the big ten

I love when my interest in Illini Basketball can take me straight into baseball season (Cardinals for me). And it's even better when my baseball season can take me right up to Illini basketball again!

2004-2006 was a good time for that.

The White Sox are gonna ROCK this year. The only two teams in baseball who are as talented are the Dodgers and the Padres. OK, back to the Illini now.
