No facts yet released about length of suspension, but a solid opinion on the issue nonetheless.
ANY suspension is a joke. God forbid we let kids legitimately make money off their talent
I'd think Kofi would have a solid case against the NCAA based on the Supreme Court ruling, if he pursued it. The problem is one of two things would happen: 1) the suspension would likely be over before a court determination unless Kofi gets a preliminary injunction but 2) Kofi gets a preliminary injunction delaying any enforcement, but if Kofi loses the case then the NCAA could enforce the suspension whenever the case gets decided, so could be in conference play or even during tournament. Big risk.

I don't see how. SCOTUS made themselves pretty clear. Although somehow we would probably end up in the 6th appellate court which includes Michigan and Ohio.

In 2019 they went on sale to the public on Nov 22. I thinks there's a pre-sale available before that for I FUND.
Also if/when the suspension drops, the optics are just going to be horrible for the ncaa in the wake of Kofi being named to preseason AA lists and preseason BIG POY. Handing down a draconian punishment to one of your more visible stars for profiting off his likeness in the wake of the SCT decision sure would be a bad look.

If it's Nov 9, our first game, then 2 weeks would put us at the Arkansas game which would be a giant bummer to miss. 3 weeks would be to the ND game.

Wow chill out dude. You're welcome to not read his updates. He's sharing rumblings that he heard on an issue that we are all invested in. 2-3 weeks likely means 2-3 games but there are clearly still moving parts happening behind the scenes. He is doing us a service letting us know to be prepared to not be with Kofi for some period of time. I'd rather know this is a possibility and adjust my cup now. You are welcome not to do that but don't shoot the messenger because he doesn't have all the details yet.
They have been trying to fight it this entire time. But when it comes down I don’t think they will appeal it and have it drag out any longer than it has too.
