If you'd like to zoom in, lets have...Fun with Team Pics!
1. CoHawk clearly said something funny to Connor right before the picture.
2. DMFW neck is ridiculous....for a football player.
3. BBV has Atlas shoulders
4. CoHawk and Omar clearly did not receive the picture shoe memo.
5. Fletch is definitely making progress with Lieb.
6. Podz is Freshman of the Gym
7. RJ hair looks fresh from the 60's off the set of Madmen.
8. DMFW resting heart rate must be 27bpm
9. Kofi is looking directly into the soul of the NCAA.
I'm not sure what the elephant is... they are both listed at 6'10 on the website.
Maybe Coleman is 6'11 now.
Remember when BU just wanted a recruit that was taller than him? Another Festivus miracle!!!BU is not a small man, but he looks like one in that row
I'm pretty sure Trent has grown several inches as well. Looks like a solid 6'5" to me, without shoes.Hutch is probably taller than either CH or OP but they have him sitting down to keep it as a secret weapon.
Can’t wait until we dump these jerseys/lettering
The only jerseys that should exist are the white script Illinois and the orange Fighting Illini. Those two, until the end of time. Can’t wait until we dump these jerseys/lettering
Agree. Cursive all day long. Can’t wait until we dump these jerseys/lettering
You were JKing, I get it, but IIRC Omar has exceptionally long armsI'm going to address the elephant in the room. CH looks taller than OP.
Maybe they should take the picture with there arms extended. How can we make these important decisions without all the facts. You were JKing, I get it, but IIRC Omar has exceptionally long arms
You're not wrong. The only jerseys that should exist are the white script Illinois and the orange Fighting Illini. Those two, until the end of time.
The asymmetry caused by Damonte not holding a basketball is bothering me.
Yup.The asymmetry caused by Damonte not holding a basketball is bothering me.
I am not getting the love for Michigan. Wagner is killing it in the league, Livers was a huge piece, and Mike Smith and a couple other backcourt vets are gone. Yes, they’re bringing in some talent, but I think they lost more than they’re bringing in.Big Ten predictions: Can Michigan, Purdue or anyone end B1G's national title drought?
As the countdown to the 2021-22 college basketball season continues, ESPN's conference predictions series continues with the Big Ten.www.espn.com
Hopefully this is printed and on the bulletin board in the locker room because the amount of disrespect for Illinois as a top contender to lead the B1G to a national title and even tagged as a bit overrated should be additional fuel to keep the fire burning bright! The love for Michigan is understandable, but to discount the pieces we have and have added, it'll be nice to say "I told you so" in January.
I'm not sure how good Houstan will be, but my guess is very good and him next to Dickinson in a lineup will be a problem for a lot of teams.I am not getting the love for Michigan. I like that this board has moved on from "Wagner isn't that good" to "Wagner is so good, Michigan can't replace his production."I am not getting the love for Michigan. Fun fact: Our first game is this Tuesday, the 9th
Dude was drafted 9th overall, he was obviously talented and an excellent defender.I like that this board has moved on from "Wagner isn't that good" to "Wagner is so good, Michigan can't replace his production."
I agree Michigan is a bit of a question mark. They might be worse than last year, but if their insanely good recruiting class pans out, they could also be better. They're also returning Dickinson who dominates a lot of centers not named Kofi, and as we've seen first hand dominant big men go a long way towards success in college basketball. I think the other thing is that Michigan greatly overperformed their expectations last season, and so people don't want to make the same mistake and underrate them again.
I agree, more a comment on all the people on here who used to talk about how he wasn't very good and would flop in the NBA, and they couldn't understand how he could be a lottery pick. Haven't seen much of that lately for some reason...Dude was drafted 9th overall, he was obviously talented and an excellent defender.
He had a rough outing against us…as did the UM squad haha. If Curbelo makes the leap we all think/know he can. I think the Illini are the team to beat.I agree, more a comment on all the people on here who used to talk about how he wasn't very good and would flop in the NBA, and they couldn't understand how he could be a lottery pick.
