It seems at this point that we have four players that will be strong candidates for one of the all-conference teams. Trent, Alph, Jacob, and Kofi all strong cases at this point. The fifth player in DMW or Hawk also damn good. Just can’t help thinking how great this team would be if it included Liddell. Know he likes OSU but wonder if he also thinks about the possibilities if he had chosen UI. National Championship would certainly have been a possibility.

This was the case from time-to-time in 2020 when there was an actice pandemic thread. So for now I'd prefer that the lively & heated discussions on this board focus on the glory & heartbreak of Illini athletics

I remember when there was no interwebs.....And no ESPN TV ...............I had to run to the store to pick up a St. Louis Post Dispatch newspaper to see who drafted who in the NFL Draft.....Back in my days it was 1000 rounds of picking and choosing ....I would get my paper and go down to my van down by the river and see who the St. Louis Cardinals picked and what position they played ......
Now I'm thinking about famous trios, to see if there's one whose name either fits with three pointers, or can be tweaked to do so. Haven't found it yet, but do kinda like the idea of Snap, Crackle, and Pop.
