Call me crazy but I am indifferent and at peace about whatever Kofi chooses. I think we are in a place where we will be fine regardless
Source?Kofi is coming back and Shannon will be an Illini as long as Caleb Love doesn't leave UNC.

He's a sweet talker, too. He's been called the black walnut of insiders.Sorry, didn't realize he was an insider

Hoops-wise, I agree. Financially (especially, short-term), he'll make considerably more staying. Then there's the age/career clock factor. Complicated decision.TBH - I don't see Kofi significantly helping his draft stock playing at Illinois/College. NCAA coaches are paid to win and winning doesn't include Kofi shooting from 15'-25' very often. I don't think it is a simply decision for him or those guiding him. Welcome him back but for him to continue to develop his play for the next level - think it would be in HIS best interest time to move on. It is in Illinois' best interest for him to return to Champaign.
wow love seeing a big who can move (dribble and start at 3 pt line) like video shows. Nice use of both hands. Looking forward to seeing him on the floor.
There’s a good chance that no future team that Kofi plays on will want him shooting from 15-25 feet because it would be a bad shot.TBH - I don't see Kofi significantly helping his draft stock playing at Illinois/College. Fletch has been at work. Looks completely different than 2021 version. Hope defensive coaches have also been at it.
Think the 20’ shot with no one hanging on his arms will be a piece of cake. May not shoot it at 75% but it would certainly open it up for the slashers to shoot 80% on layups. There’s a good chance that no future team that Kofi plays on will want him shooting from 15-25 feet because it would be a bad shot.
No player in history shoots 75% on 20 foot shots and almost no one shoots 80% at the rimThink the 20’ shot with no one hanging on his arms will be a piece of cake. May not shoot it at 75% but it would certainly open it up for the slashers to shoot 80% on layups.
Brad must be showing the Ayo Michigan iso mid-range shot to the star guard recruits again and again. Four other players at the baseline and a buzz beater. It cannot go any better than that.
