I’m sorry … does that say that ranked Illinois vs. ranked UCLA in Las Vegas will be on ESPNU?
What a joke!I’m sorry … does that say that ranked Illinois vs. ranked UCLA in Las Vegas will be on ESPNU?
IL vs UCLA, Fri. 11/18, 8:30pm CT, ESPNU
IL vs Baylor/Virginia, Sun. 11/20, 2:00pm/4:30pm CT, ESPN
Honestly, from a ratings perspective, it’s asinine to not switch these two games if that’s the case. How can this premiere event on NU? What could possibly be a better draw/matchup? BS!
I was at that game!! Sadly, I was also at the 1993 Illinois/Arizona game. the defense DOMINATED, but lost due to incorrect fumble calls. The four missed fumbles against Michigan led to adoption of reply too.
South Florida vs Tulsa is the 8 pm start on ESPN 2.
NBA has the Friday night on ESPN and South Florida vs Tulsa is the 8 pm start on ESPN 2.
You mean you’re not familiar with the school that knocked us out in the first round of the 1995 tourney?

Rogers will be tough to keep out.So, am thinking about this coming year's Illini Inter-squad games.... might be better than the inter-collegiate schedule!
There could be some real battles! I'm not sure that a potential first team of Clark, Shannon, Mayer, Melendez, and Coleman would dominate a team of Epps, Harris, Goode, Rogers, and Dainja. It might come down to whoever had the hot hand for the scrimmage. I would LOVE to be there to see the effort needed to win!
So what WOULD make the best starting five? Can you really keep Rogers off of it? Or Dainja? A five man substitution every 5-8 minutes?
I for one have never seen our team so deep with truly talented players.

Well, I must be cursed, too, then because I was also at both of those games. I was NOT at the Illini-Miami game that changed the out of bounds rule, but I was watching it on tv...I was at that game!! Sadly, I was also at the 1993 Illinois/Arizona game. the defense DOMINATED, but lost due to incorrect fumble calls.
I am cursed.
Should be good enough for 35-40 placement in the polls and a 7 or 8 seed in the big dance I figure! /sIllini have some great wings. Free Rivals article ranks us #2.

Calipari tried the two wave approach one year. He ducked questions about it all year, and then after the season said "never again."So, am thinking about this coming year's Illini Inter-squad games.... might be better than the inter-collegiate schedule!

" There's a real chance four or five of Illinois' wings play in the NBA one day."
A tadddddd bit of bias to say the leastI always liked Isaac Trotter when he wrote for The Daily Illini.
