I hope he’s working on his 3 off the dribble because being able to create/facilitate is one thing, but when they sag or go under you gotta be able to make them pay.

I probably almost got banned last year for repeating the same thing about Curbelo 100000000 times. But Rodgers needs that in his tool belt too, since it is similarly considered a weakness.
As there are 7 better 3 pt shooters on the roster, shooting 3s off the dribble is not needed from Ty.

Did anyone last season choose the mobile pass season tickets? Last year I only went to 6 games and the cost was the same as the mobile season tickets. I just don't know where the seating for the mobile pass tickets are located i.e. high above the backboard or on the sideline. I know they are in the 200 section and that's what I normally buy anyways but looking for some further insight. Any help would be appreciated before I decide to buy mobile season tickets, regular season tickets, or single games.

They change your seats every game. Most of the time we were very high up but along sidelines.

Matt Mayer cut the mullet ... Highly disappointing lol ...

Dainja looks the part ... I got to see a little preview of a side-by-side comparison from when he got here until now ... WOW, I hope Fletch posts that one

I think for me I expected Skyy, Ty, and Epps to all be ready and they look ready ...

The biggest surprise to me is Harris ... He might be the most athletic kid Brad has had and he is so freaking long it's insane and he loves to talk trash and isn't afraid to back it up ... Kinda like Trent in that way ... May not be a major player right away but Harris is gonna be a fan favorite ...

If I had one thing to kinda nitpick ... It would be Hawkins ... I just wish he would take the next step as a leader ... I mean he is the most experienced guy in terms of being at Illinois that we have and he spends a lot of time just clowning around and not being mentally freaking focused ... I know we have been blessed with Trent and Ayo and DMFW but I really thought Coleman would step up and it's just not the case ... Goode, and TJ were probably the most vocal guys ...
Feels like that’s Coleman’s personality in general. Will always be the guy to get his teammates in a good mood, but definitely hoping he shows some leadership throughout the season.

Yeah, happy go lucky (for lack of a better term) is fine (i.e., he is who he is). But as an upperclassman, he needs to be flippin' locked in every second he's in. Part of that entails keeping his emotions in check and cutting way back on acting out when he's tagged by the refs.

I get the feeling that Hawkins will never fully mature. Hope I am wrong.

I feel like that's typical, though. Most marquee non-conference games seem to be neutral sites these days rather than home-and-home games.
Thinking back to that Zona Home and Home and the road game at Cameron (albeit without any fans) were fun. Although, I am not mad about getting a spot in the Jimmy V Classic

The away non-conference games are great but as a season ticket holder, the home non-conference games really are disappointing.
Agreed. There is a big difference between some non-conference warm up games, and a steady diet of KenPom 300+ powderpuffs. If they want a really easy game to start the season, okay. After that, why are we playing anyone with a KenPom over 200? Any 150+ KenPom opponent should be a win, even on an off night.

I certainly will not be buying tickets for any of the powderpuff games.

Come on CoHawk be a leader, my dude. The Cali attitude could comeback to bite him in the arse if he’s lacks maturity come November.

Thanks for the update Indy!

Takeaways: Not a single true road game. The low major opponents are about as low major as possible. Top end teams though are very good and will be a similar test as Baylor in 2020, and Arizona in 2021.

These games plus two presumably decent B1G matchups are quite the start to the season. Can't wait
Final Kenpom standings of 2022 for our opponents:

Home EXH: Quincy- DII
Home Eastern Illinois- 357 (out of 358...)
Home UMKC- 214
Home Monmouth- 158

Neu UCLA- 11
Neu Baylor/Virginia- 4/72

Home Lindenwood- DII
Home Syracuse- 69 (nice)

Neu Texas- 15
Home B1G Team TBA?
Away B1G Team TBA?
Home Alabama A&M- 314

Neu Mizz- 137
Home Bethune-Cookman- 333

Cupcakes to start and a good warm-up. Gets serious quickly in Nov with 2 possible Q1 opportunities. Have to not choke on a cupcake and convert on probably 3/4 of these bigger neutral site games and we will be in great shape to start the Big ten schedule.

I see 11-12 wins (+1counting exhibition), which would be good starting position for us.
