It will be a great year, not a good year, if this man is making shots likes this all year..
If I read the new transfer rules right, basketball players (spring sports) can transfer between Dec. 1-15 and for 45-days after championship selections. This should be fine for a mid-year transfer.
I don't know exactly what constitutes "after the championship selections" for basketball. Anyone care to enlighten me?
I can't speak for anyone but....I have a feeling a large group here is pulling for a productive season from Goode! I know I am....
He has been able to do that since last year. If he can defend enough, I think he will get enough minutes.

Basketball historically has been considered a winter sport by the NCAA (e.g., Link), which under the new rules has a 60-day window to enter the portal beginning the day after championships selections are made in the sport.
The take in one podcast I listened to by basketball writers (Parrish and Norlander) was that the 60-day window would begin the day after the NCAA field was selected.
A couple of the points discussed in the podcast:
* NCAA wanted the transfer window to end before the end of the school year.
* The 60 day window the NCAA went with (beginning the day after selection Sunday) disadvantages teams still in the tournament, noting that a coaching staff with a NCAA tournament game the next day potentially could need to divert resources to recruit someone who just entered the portal.
* Said that many of the coaches they had spoken with had favored a 45 day window beginning after the championship game, and noted that even moving it to after the Elite 8 games would have significantly reduced the number of teams affected.
* Some coaches had focused on the potential negative impact on mid-year transfers.
Championship selections is Selection Sunday.
