Does she have any interest in helping with Basketball/Football recruiting...?
Not sure if she does or not....but I wouldn't mind at all being recruited by her

Looks like she could be a potential NL#4.

Just listened to the CBS Eye on College basketball pod (ntional basketball podcast) preview of OSU and Michigan, which made their top 20 list (IL did not). I realize we lost a lot but think the national media is really sleeping on us.

OSU made the the cut because of their 2 transfers, 3 top 50-75ish freshman (including a frosh PG who is expected to start) and because Holtmann is a really good coach.

Michigan made the cut because they think HD will have an AA type year and they think Jett Howard will seriously outplay his ranking based on winning MVP of Iverson classic.

I like OSU’s transfers. I like ours more.

We will have a frosh PG as well but with our new style of play I think we will be less reliant on PG play than years past.

And as far as frosh playing above their rankings, we have one frosh who won the 1/1 tourney at the Iverson, one who was a key cog in the USA team that won gold, and one who was literally a top 10 player before an acl tear that happened almost 18 months ago.

And thats not giving us any credit for our returning pieces, one of which is projected as a second rounder on most mock drafts.

It doesn’t bother me that much and I understand we lost a ton, including a mountain of a man in the middle, but just interesting to me who gets noticed and who doesn’t.

I have no idea how well this team will do, but I think this team will have a high floor. Too many experienced and talented players the way they recruited and hit the transfer portal. Maybe not for-sure NBA level, but I think there are legitimately 5+ guys on the roster who will get mentions as guys who will hear from teams if not drafted. And I wouldn't be surprised if one of the borderline guys emerges as a legit NBA level with a good season.

Don't know about the ceiling --depends on development, how they gel, whether they learn to play defense, etc..Practice should be pretty intense given the depth on the roster.

Some nice marque non-conference games will give us an indication of whether this is top-10, top-25, or something else.

This was not expected, correct? Was the staff aware this was happening?

Deep breath all…Don’t read much into it. Some things to take care of, and look for him on campus December-ish.
I get that it would be possible, but it seems like he'd be a redshirt possibility at that point so why not get the minutes on the floor at Sunrise? I get work outs with the team and with Fletch are also valuable. I suppose you leave it up to the kid?
