I don't think I am worried. Whether Skyy performs as a scorer remains to be seen, but he was a top 10 recruit before he lost some athleticism due to injury. Were people concerned when John wall, Derrick rose, Kyrie irving, etc. came in? I would imagine that Skyy is pretty much on their (age 19) level when it comes to handles.
I think we'll be fine, if everyone plays hard and as a team. We have a lot of talent.

I agree not being overly worried about PG......I'm sure BU and staff are on top of it and will do everything possible to instill as much confidence as they can and help smooth the learning curve in transition from HS to college for Skyy , Epps and others they call upon to be the PG or multiple PG's on the court.....
The coaching staff has my confidence with this matter.......I'm looking forward to seeing new blood on the squad and how they perform ........Should be an entertaining team full of speed and shooting skills....
Having seen Wall play at the Bass Pro Tournament in high school, I can honestly say I have never seen anyone with a handle and quickness to the rim. Now, as a shooter, he leaves a lot to be desired. But he could get to the rim anytime he wanted and finish. Ted Dupay was just as impressive. Dupay had handle, quickness, range to 35 ft as any elite shooter....but was just too short for the NBA.
I simply need to see Skyy play to have an informed opinion. I hope he is the best ever in college and NBA, but from what I know, which is little, he has a learning curve and some skill development to tackle. After all, he has proven to only be a very good player against high school competition. Give him time and maybe he will prove on the court that he is elite....which is the only thing that counts for anything.
That said, I am ready to become his biggest fan.
Absolutely. Our guards have a collective total of 0 minutes of college basketball experience. Maybe they'll be ok, but there are plenty of recent examples of 5-star freshman struggling with the college game.
Having an experienced guard like Curbelo would allow the freshman to develop without putting the fate of the team on their shoulders. And if Curbelo has moved beyond any lingering concussion issues, and is able to pick up where he left off at the end of his Freshman year, then you welcome him back with open arms and shower him with NIL money.

But most teams are also not one true freshman's ACL tear recovery hitting a speed bump away from their entire roster of point guards and centers being Dain Dainja and Brandon Lieb.

I agree with the majority of this post. My separation from it is my thinking this season’s player mix and anticipated uptick in tempo would have suited Belo’s game far better than what we saw the past two years.
I viewed him as having a pass-first mentality, and I believe his ability to collapse defenses and create lanes & shots for teammates would have given this particular squad of long, aggressive, athletic kids a plethora of easy scores.
It seems pretty obvious the middle will be less clogged this year - a problem that was a partial cause for his running so often into traffic (and subsequent TOs/circus shots). Considering, too, his plus defense and rebounding, and I have trouble understanding why so many here (not you, GG) are happy about his exit.
It’s moot now, anyway… But, like you, I’ll watch him as much as possible, and if he faces the beloved, I’d like to see him score a triple-double in a losing effort.

The B1G conference just doesn't scare me this year.
Michigan: More talented last season and it was a disaster, so why should they be better this year with less talent?
MSU: Lost some guys, and the guys they are expecting big things from have been shaky.
Iowa: Keegan Murray bailed them out a ton and they haven't added much
Indiana: Same core and some talented freshmen grow up, but they most likely still have shooting problems which almost always keeps your ceiling low.
OSU: Not even a tournament team according to preseason Torvik
Wisconsin: Same as OSU
Purdue: Edey will carry them, but other than him it looks meh. If guys don't step up they might be on the bubble come March.
The rest: Blah.
Someone please correct me if I'm missing something because I haven't followed the offseason super close. But I'm just not seeing it. That being said, it's still the B1G and there are some very good coaches in this conference.
