I got tickets for a game during student break. They say floor and section number X and then a letter row. It looks like the stadium uses numbers for row. Would these be the chairs on the floor?

Not Illini related but still college hoops related:

Nantz will still call NFL games with Romo and still be part of CBS's golf coverage including the Masters. With an 8 and 6 year old at home, I can understand why he'd want to spend more time with the family. When you consider how many hats he wore for CBS, he basically worked year round with very little breaks.

He's not my friend and I am tired of him calling me so. I bet most of the posters on this forum work harder than he does.

Gasaway? Did he forget Illinois plays in the B1G? Iowa 2? We need to blow up his twitter feed when we win the conference.

Not too worried about his question as I don’t believe anyone will or needs to average 16+ points a game. Assuming starters as Hawk, Matt, RJ, Terry, and Skyy, all are capable of having 20+ individual games. Just pick out the opposing weak defensive man and abuse him with whoever he is guarding. You knew the game plan when Kofi was here, just a matter of being able to stop it. Now it is a problem because they have nine guys who can bring it.

Pretty sure he graduated from U of I, so I'm guessing he's aware of us. I used to read his blog back in the day that was fairly early on looking at data in college basketball. He's usually pretty good. Maybe he's trying to help out BU by giving him press clippings to point to 😂

Does this increase the likelihood that they try to bring Perrin in midyear?

Why? I would be surprised if a young euro could come in as a freshman and help this team. maybe you know something i don't but
he'd be better off putting on a year of weight training with Fletch than to walk into a big ten conference schedule with an
anticipation to help. Who knows. Maybe he's way more advanced than i know. If mid year means to give him 9-10 months with
Fletch , that's a different matter.

Gasaway has Illinois 4th, which isn't some travesty (check out KenPom's preseason ratings, they have Illinois 7th (gasp!) in the conference.

Gasaway graduated from U of I and ran the Big Ten Wonk blog for years and regularly points out when Illinois does things that are good, so he clearly knows and understands Illinois.

Personally, if they finish 4th in the Big Ten but make the second weekend or better in the NCAA, it'd be better than if they won the Big Ten but crashed out in the first weekend again.

Something I’ve been thinking about is how much easier getting good looks for layups should be this year. I expect some 5 out looks from this team and a lot more stretching of defenses. We wont get as many dunks this year, but the variety of scoring should be fun to watch and easier on the players.

Gasaway is probably thinking we will go as far as our freshman PG will take us.

BUT ALL OF OUR PLAYERS ARE PG'S!! DOES HE NOT EVEN KNOW WE HAVE NO POSITIONS??
