Quincy Guerrier looks like a beast. Don’t remember a power forward from recent yrs that solid except maybe Leron. If he plays like Leron’s last yr we are in good shape.

Terrible indeed! Personally, I would go Dee Brown, Frankie Williams, Nick Anderson, Ken Norman, and Kofi Koburn. Battle would be my 6th man. Best team? Perhaps not but sure would be fun to watch.
I'm going

Deron
Kendall Gill
Nick Anderson
Nick Weatherspoon
Kofi

With Dee as the 6th man energy guy off the bench.

Honorable mentions to Brian Cook, Derek Harper, Eddie Johnson, Ken Norman, Battle, and Thomas. I also left out the older guys like Kerr and Price. Also id be really tempted to run out some small ball lineups with 4 guards.

Most dominant big man in my lifetime has been Kofi. Other solid big men are Meyers and Deon.

Most accomplished guard is Deron Williams.

Next 3 picks are up for debate but believe Kofi and Deron are pretty set at PG and Center.
Add Nick Anderson and Frank Williams. Consider Deon Thomas for 5th man.

Dee
Ayo
Gill
Cook
Kofi

This is the only correct answer.
whose line is it anyway GIF

My team is built around Kofi, requiring the others to be good 3p shooters and passers. I only considered players I've watched. I did "cheat" and look up some stats.

Team:
Dee Brown 6' PG
Deron Williams 6'3 PG (as SG)
Kendall Gill 6'5 SG/SF (as SF)
Brian Cook 6'9 PF
Kofi Cockburn 7' C

6th Man: Ayo Dosunmu 6'4 SG

Others considered:
PGs: Frank Williams, Bruce Douglas, Derek Harper didn't develop 3p shots until later in their careers, if at all.

Kiwani Garris 6'2 SG; Not as strong a 3p shooter. Poor FG%, Not great passer to feed Kofi.
Corey Bradford 6'3 SG; Great shooter. Not as strong a passer/rebounder/defender as some others.
Demetri McCamey 6'3 PG/SG; I just couldn't get him to move up the list.

Nick Anderson 6'6 SG/SF; Close call vs. Kendall. Took Kendall's passing/steals vs. Anderson's scoring.
Kenny Battle SF; no 3p shot, no assists. Great defense, and effort. One of my all time favorites to watch.

Deon Thomas 6'9 PF; no 3p shot
James Augustine PF; Cook was the better 3p shooter for my stretch 4.
Ken Norman PF/C; Can't play him and Kofi.
Meyers Leonard C; Left before he really flourished. A strong alternative for a 5 out scheme replacing Kofi.

Mostly good but come on. There is no way you can take both Dee and Ayo over Anderson. Deron and Anderson are likely the two best players in program history. Gill is probably 3.

Anderson also gives you good size on the wing and was very good on the boards. Plus he was no worse of a shooter than Ayo.

Back to 2023

I'm feeling real good about 2023( 2 returning 2nd round NBA + Ty, Sincere, Dain + healthy Luke)

Ty, Terrence, Luke, Coleman, Dain - plus a great bench Sincere, Quincy, Amani, Dravyn, & Marcus

What's not to like! (we can let TSJ & CoHawk be the hero in late shot clock)

Based strictly on their college careers, Dee and Ayo have a strong case for being the better players.
