for sure I want a coach who think's he's a master of the universe. if this gambit works, I won't blame him one iota for really relishing it. I know I would. FWLIW, I think there's a pretty good chance it'll work pretty well. Then again, I'm a true believer in Ty.

forgot to mention (and it's flippin' key) that the makeup (skill & experience) of our team is going to help Ty a lot

I just thought it was unneeded embellishment. He had a great senior year as the stats he cited show. Why not just leave it at that?

Anyway, I think we can all agree that we want him to have a good year, and it’s great he’s putting in the work.

To get a triple double, you need 30 units to be achieved.

If you get 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists, you’ve achieved 27 of 30 units (90%). That’s nearly.

Well that is one way of looking at it. Or, to get a triple-double you need to accomplish 3 things — 1. Score 10 points 2 Grab 10 rebounds. 3. Dish out 10 assists. If you get 10 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists you’ve accomplished 2 of the 3 things or 66.6% — not nearly in my book.

Again though, I thought the use of nearly by the writer was inaccurate but more so just really unneeded. Obviously you and others aren’t of the same opinion. No biggie. Forget I mentioned it.

That entire starting line-up would be 6'6"or over. You still have 6"9" Guerrier, 6"10 Hansberry for the front line and Sincere and Harmon, DGL and Domask for back court help. I think without significant injuries we go 11-1 in the non-conference and 14-6 in conference with the losses in conference all coming away (except for Purdue) from Champaign to Iowa, Maryland, Michigan St. and Rutgers.

I know we all want an extra inch, but come on! Guerrier and Hansberry are both listed at 6’8 and our program generally is pretty generous with listed heights.

I mean, yes, it could be, but it sounds like Ty has slimmed down some and is know for his defense. You'd hope that at his size, he can impose his will on a smaller, quicker guard....and if that guard does cause problems for Ty, that guard would probably cause problems for most of our guards......or maybe Sencire will work just fine in this instance.
