Anyone see the post Terrence shared on his Instagram? Looks like he has changed his grip on the ball in his shooting motion. Always wondered why his shot wasn’t consistent, always looked like he had something just slightly off on his release. Looks like he’s gripping the ball better now and letting it roll off of his finger tips better, while not holding it without his fingers being so extended around the ball. Looks much better.

Side note; did he play for Full Package in AAU when he was younger? Played them growing up in a few small tournaments and Terrence is only 2 years younger than me… makes me think 🤔

4 break games with one of them being MSU is a huge bummer. on the bright side, when we go to Mackey the Purdue students will be on break
5 break games. most students will be gone by Dec 17 Colgate (moved from 11/26)

Haven't posted much in the run-up to the season because the thing I'm most curious about (the PG situation), I don't see getting new info on until the games actually start.

Oh, you didn't ask and you didn't miss me :/ Fair enough.

We play Sparty and Purdue twice. They play each other only once (?!)

We only get PSU and Minny once. Sparty gets them twice. Sparty also gets Rutgers only once, in East Lansing.

I think Izzo has the most favorable schedule.

With a roster of his own players, Brad will get you 20 wins and a tourney appearance. As a coach, the dude has a high floor...just need him to reach his ceiling :cautious:
'21 team reached its full potential and flamed out in the second round. '22 team overplayed their expectations & ran into a great Houston team with half of the team limping to the finish line.. Last year was a mess & still was a pretty solid team objectively. He needs to get to his first second weekend & I think it'll open the flood gates. Part of the reason he's a Power-5 coach is he took SFA to their absolute ceiling, wasn't Brads win % there close to 80-90? Only coach I've also seen turn a 0-6 conference start into a few points from a round of 32, maybe ever. Think this team has just the same chance I'd give his last 4 teams. Time will tell.

Think 22-9 if we stay healthy is the most realistic. Could see up to 25 & hopefully no less than 19 wins.
You're more optimistic than me. I think we have a pretty tough schedule there with a rough stretch in January and another one to close out the season. I'm thinking between 12 and 14 losses. I predict:

Non-con: 8-3
B10: 11-9
BTT: 1-1

And we'll be clenching our butts hard on selection sunday.

I think there’s a lot of BIG teams this year that would normally fall between 6-10 in most years. Which means you really need to be the cream that rises to the top. I think this teams floor is insanely high, which leads me to believe we win more of those big ten games than we lose. IMO the only clear cut top flight team is Purdue and the only clear cut crappy teams are PSU and Minny. Everyone else is battling.

8-3 non con feels right. Gimme 13-7 in the big ten though and a top 4 finish.

Got caught up in the optimism last fall and had high hopes for our freshman guards. Predicted 24-7 (or something like that) Essentially the same team, IMO this year's team is a little more balanced and much more experienced, but PG will be a challenge all year. 21-10 1-1 BTT and will struggle to get to the 2nd weekend for NCAAT
