You and I agree on most takes, but not sure why you're completely dismissing his opinion. None of us have any clue how Mirkovic's game is going to translate. Tomi's translated, but Z has had a bit of a bumpier road, though he did face SEC competition. Plus, they're both 7 ft+ with an extreme amount of range.
Mirkovic plays a position that's extremely troublesome, historically, for us. Bouncy, athletic 4's have just destroyed us. Morez struggled mightily on the defensive end just staying in the game because of foul trouble. I'm not sure what type of athleticism Mirkovic brings to the table, but I'm betting it's not to Morez's level.
Expecting more than 10-12 minutes a game of TRULY meaningful minutes is setting him up for failure. It might take him a year or more to acclimate himself to the size, speed, pace and level of athletes around him. OTOH, maybe he handles it seamlessly. He's definitely a question mark and that's perfectly ok.
