I’m sorry to be persnickety…but that’s not a two handed
jumpshot. That’s a two handed
set shot. He barely leaves his feet on the release. His shot pocket is WAY low. He brought a few of those almost to his waist.
(Honestly, Marion’s shot looks like something out of the 30s and 40s…before they figured out the one-handed shot with proper rotation and the guide hand on the side of the ball.)
A true
jump shot is designed to have an above the head, release point; occurring at the peak of one’s jump.
