I watched Tal Brody play at Illinois and he was an excellent point guard. Don't remember his shot as a two-handed set shot. As I remember he had a normal looking jump shot with a fairly quick release. His passing and ball handling were outstanding. Probably would have played in the NBA if he had not elected to go to Israel to play with and coach their national team.If you remember Tal Brody's two hand set shot, you are really old.

Wasn't around for that, but did really enjoy the documentary highlighting how Tal helped put Israeli basketball On the Map and is revered there. Great story.
For those who are unfamiliar, after his Illinois career he was 12th pick in the 1965 NBA draft (by Bullets/Wizards) but instead moved to Israel to play there. The next year the Hawks gave up a veteran guard and future draft pick to acquire his NBA rights from the Bullets, but he opted to stay in Israel for the remainder of his career and became a legend there.

I need them to put up those height markers you see around the doors of gas stations on the tunnel when he runs out. That's the only way I'll believe it.
A 3 inch growth spurt at 22/23 isn't very common. I'd say I'd put it more in Brad's "Elite" analysis of every last guy on the roster or for the teams we play against.
2-3 inches in 3.5 months at 23 years old? I’m skeptical but why would Brad make that up?
Because Brad, in an effort to create as much excitement as humanly possible around his program, says things that aren't really realistic or within the realm of factual. He's "elite" at hyperbole.
If it's real that could be real interesting no pun intended.
