An El Camino.....What did you drive in college?
obviously lacked a 3800A magnificent car; “regal” even. (most stolen car in Chicago back in the day)
Mine was guaranteed to get me to from point A to point B and at least half way back.
I learned to drive in a 82 Regal Limited.....Had a pristine 92 Regal in high school. White with plush red interior. Only problem is that was in 2007.
That’s alright I had my ‘84 as late as the late 90s.Had a pristine 92 Regal in high school. White with plush red interior. Only problem is that was in 2007.
I don't disagree with staying calm, but this article makes a good deal of baseless assumptions/conclusions, and on principle I'm opposed to doing such things even if it's in support of a viewpoint I agree with. I'll list them below:![]()
Illinois basketball receives some unwanted preseason news
The 2025-26 campaign for the Illinois basketball program is one that many fans are anxious to get started. That doesn’t necessarily mean Illini fans are excitedwritingillini.com
I completely agree with you on your read of the quality of the article, and I'll list the reasons below my reasons why:I don't disagree with staying calm, but this article makes a good deal of baseless assumptions/conclusions, and on principle I'm opposed to doing such things even if it's in support of a viewpoint I agree with. -"It is just the start of September. The season doesn’t really get going until November. " - KJ got injured very early in the season, his shooting was never the same. We saw what happened to his draft stock as a result.
-"If this were a massive injury that was going to keep Stojakovic out for a long period of time, there would have been mention of that." - They have practically refused to comment on Ty Rodgers, so this means nothing.
-"Stojakovic has had time to gel with his teammates." - Did he have time to gel with Petrovic? Sort of key to your season for your planned starting SF to practice with your starting PG.
So pathetic. We know how this goes. Would be shocked if he plays more than 10 games for us
I dont disagree with you.when I first read the headline my first thought was here we go again as far as kj injury was closer to mid year and I agree he definitely slumped after. But as the far as the article says its still early but I do hope he gets back soon so the team can have time to gel and get used to playing together sooner then later hopefully its more of Brad just not turning a minor injury instead something that prolongs throughout the as I do believe AS is a really important piece to this teams successI don't disagree with staying calm, but this article makes a good deal of baseless assumptions/conclusions, and on principle I'm opposed to doing such things even if it's in support of a viewpoint I agree with. - No, not all injuries, but the point was time does not indicate how an injury will impact a season.I mean these all read like worst case scenarios to me.
- Are we certain that all injuries going forward will affect players in this way? KJ was shooting 50/40/90 and that was unlikely to be sustained over the course of a full season.
- Well, it was reported that Ty was having surgery. No clue how someone could come to the conclusion you have here.
- Petrovic. Right… so like, one guy?
Me everytime I read a Rees Woodcock article:I completely agree with you on your read of the quality of the article, and I'll list the reasons below my reasons why:

- It was reported he had surgery, they have not given us a timeline of any kind. We've been left to speculate on if he'll even play this season. So I guess if you want to interpret what we've gotten regarding Andrej is at least he won't need surgery, then sure, but that's still not a timeline.
- It's the most important relationship he could have, player-wise.
HIPAA only applies to medical professionals and entities. If our athletic department is providing care of any kind, information regarding the injury can be public. While they might not be able to get into specifics that only a provider would know and wouldn't share, the timeline is a sharable projection. If you've never seen a coach project when a player will return from injury, I assume you're new to sports, so welcome. It was reported he had surgery, they have not given us a timeline of any kind. A couple things
HIPAA violations can get expensive. I still think HIPAA is the reason we ever got the full story about Curbelo
I don’t know of a single college coach who is also a licensed medical doctor
I don’t know of a single college coach who can predict when an injured player will be healed, or a single one who is stupid enough to try.
From where am from athletic trainers are considered medical professionals.HIPAA only applies to medical professionals and entities. They're only HIPAA-covered if they're employed by HIPAA entities. Trainers employed by the school can share any info they gain by treating you with the coach. From where am from athletic trainers are considered medical professionals.
Previously you said to the public. They're only HIPAA-covered if they're employed by HIPAA entities. Trainers employed by the school can share any info they gain by treating you with the coach.
The gray area would be the info they can provide that they receive from outside entities, like a surgeon, however every NCAA school would have a waiver of some kind an athlete would sign to participate that would enable the sharing of medical info.

The coach is then allowed to share that info to the public, yes.Previously you said to the public.
for whatever reason, this popped up in my links
