Do you have a box score ink?Cmon man. Let’s save this kind of energy for when nw beats us in January, not an exhibition game where you got to see anything other than a box score.

Stud.What’s his classification?
Great hair architecture.Second game in and we're at this point already? Fire everybody! /s
I’m too lazy to look it up, but wasn’t that the year Luke Goode broke his foot? I think that kind of set the Illinois program that year back a bit as he was projected to be a starter and (again I am too lazy to look it up) due to the recovery I don’t think he played the role Illinois expected of him. Which in turn may have affected Illinois’ chances in the tourney.Counterpoint: they also beat #1 Kansas a year earlier in a secret scrimmage and lost in the first round as a 9 seed.
Reading too much into results of a scrimmage, particularly a secret scrimmage, is a pointless endeavor.

Though I meant to add that I agree with your second sentence.Counterpoint: they also beat #1 Kansas a year earlier in a secret scrimmage and lost in the first round as a 9 seed.

I would be a lot more concerned about the fact that by far our most expensive NIL transfer who we were counting on to lead our team is injured with no firm return date. We are only hearing that he's out "a few weeks more," whatever that means.I'll flip things around- can we care about the exhibition results, or at least not completely disregard them? The sole year under Underwood that we got out of the first weekend, we beat preseason #1 Kansas in our exhibition game.
Sorry, but that sounds a poor approach. Why would you wait two months into the Big Ten season to fix problems that are obvious now? That's a good way to start off in middle to the back of the pack and never get yourself near the top again.
No, I'm with Coach Underwood. That's an absolute red flag to give up 53 points in the first half and a serious number of offensive rebounds (in route to giving up 18 offense boards on the game, which is double what Illinois gave opponents last season on a pretty good rebounding team). Yeah, that's a definite problem and one that is not solved by the getting Mihailo or a healthy Andrej out there. Instead, it means putting more attention on toughness and rebounding and like keeping Mirk in most of the game, as one of the few guys with some serious fight in him. Otherwise, expect games like when Maryland big men schooled the Illini in route to a 21-point win on our home court. Yeah, that's what Illinois gets, when they can't play defense and get beat on the boards.

Pretty much all that matters in a scrimmage.. Don't care a bit about the final score. Just want to hear guys are playing well. The score was indeed 96-86.
Heard that it was extremely close throughout the game. Florida pulled away to win at the very end.
Mihailo played a little bit, but they did not have him out there much (heard 8 minutes-did not want to risk anything).
No Stojakovic as I mentioned earlier this week.
Tomislav Ivisic was on a minute limit and looked "extremely good." Heard he had over 15 points in 18 minutes.
Keaton Wagler with another big step, he was in double digits scoring and knocked down multiple threes.
Boswell led the team in scoring and looked really good. We are in for a big year from him.
Lastly, and most important:
David Mirkovic with 16 and 6 against one of the best frontcourts in the country. "He's the real deal."
The Mirkoholics are gonna go crazy over this.
He might just be really good. We might be really good. A top 4 of Tomi, Andre, Mirk & Tomi is elite. The Mirkoholics are gonna go crazy over this.
Even moreso if he's not even a starter. The Mirkoholics are gonna go crazy over this.
the kylan slander will not stand! He might just be really good. We might be really good. A top 4 of Tomi, Andre, Mirk & Tomi is elite.
You mean Milo?He might just be really good. We might be really good. A top 4 of Tomi, Andre, Mirk & Tomi is elite.
