Border war? Are you a Jayhawk?
I’m dating myself. While Bragging rights may have been the official name for some time, growing up in Champaign in the 80s, I remember referring to it as the border war. Had no clue about Missouri and Kansas when I was 10 years old.

Have to agree. He looks as good as Deron JR year. If he keeps this up he will be lottery pick.
Size, passing ability, outside shot, PG handles, good defense, no turnovers.
I think the Wagler train takes us to the Elite 8 or better. Big Z is exceeding expectations. Andrej 1 on 1 or in open floor is a beast. David is a rebounding machine. Tomas can hit the 3 and post up. Kylan is relentless on defense and can drive the lane. Ben, Jake and Brandon give good bench depth. Except for Petrovic team chemistry looks good. If Petrovic can improve so he can play backup PG we will need him. Keaton needs to play 30 mpg not 40 mpg.

After last nights shooting display, took a look at our 3pt shooters and how they are faring through to date in total and against P5 teams since we've already played 7

Keaton: 43% for the year, 46% vs P5 (18-39)
Tomi: 37% for year, 36% vs P5 (9/25)
Ben: 36% for year, 36% vs P5 (9/25)
Mirk: 36% for year, 37% vs p5 (10/27)
Z: 34% for year, 30% v p5 (7/23)
Jake: 33% for year, 30% p5 (3/10)
Boz: 31% for year, 29% P5 9/31
Andrej: 25% for year, 29% p5 (5/17)
I'd say that Keaton has the green light from Brad/Tyler at any point of any game now (he's earned it). Hopefully Jake and Tomi end up closer to 40% by tourney time

The series was called the Show Me Classic from 1976-77 through 1979-80 on alternating home courts. It became The Braggin Rights the next year in the 1980-81 season, and was moved to St. Louis.

Congratulations to Ben Humrichous and Adalia McKenzie on their wedding today!

Wishing you both a lifetime of Jesus, happiness, teamwork, and success as you begin this new chapter together. May your marriage be filled with a Christ centered life forever and as much joy and triumph as your time on the court. God bless you both.

Exactly. A couple of my good friends in college got married on Thanksgiving weekend one year down in Albion, which was where she was from. I was invited to wedding but didn't have a way to get there.

I don’t mean this to sound inappropriate but can you imagine the kind of athletic offspring these two could produce!

Not a great idea mid season…weakens legs. 😎

Congrats Ben and Adalia!!

Actually there was an old sport science segment on ESPN that tested the myth that abstinence increased performance, especially for boxing. They actually found that "having relations" beforehand increased punching power!

So maybe we are going to see an even tougher, stronger Ben the rest of the season!

I’m sure you’re right…and the thought of Ben becoming super basketball Ben after 20+ years of abstinence is very appealing. Alas…that’s not as funny. 😁
