Update:A recasting of our fun 9-game winning streak by uniform...
White Script vs. Missouri (St. Louis, MO)
White 1LL1NO1S vs. Southern
Orange Script at Penn State (Philadelphia, PA)
White Script vs. Rutgers
Navy Flyin' Illini at #19 Iowa
Orange Flyin' Illini at Northwestern
White 1LL1NO1S vs. Minnesota
White Script vs. Maryland
Orange Script at #4 Purdue
I would be surprised if we didn't see the Navy Flyin' Illini at Nebraska given it's been a while and the solid color contrast with their red, but maybe the guys are feelin' riding with the Orange Script after the Purdue win. I really hope we don't slide back into 1LL1NO1S territory (white or orange) for the Washington home game, lmao ... just let them die!! It would be cool to see the Orange Flyin' Illini get some more love for the Washington game, given the Huskies will have purple away uniforms.

If you take out a very expected win vs. Southern, we have used 3 White Script, 2 Orange Flyin' Illini, 2 Orange Script, 1 Navy Flyin' Illini and 1 White 1LL1NO1S. We've really spread the wealth! I would bet that Navy Flyin' Illini joins the "2 club" on Sunday, as it just seems too obvious to sport it. However, we did wear Orange Script when playing orange Tennessee and Navy Flyin' Illini when playing navy UConn, so who knows?
P.S. If we were to wear Navy Flyin' Illini on Sunday, I think that is the archetypal color distribution you should see for Illini Basketball. We should never be wearing one of our three colors THAT much more than the other. Navy will necessarily be worn the least if we ever wear orange on the road (as we should!), but white and orange should be relatively equal, IMO. I love that we would be using a rough split like this assuming navy on Sunday:
Home: 4 White, 1 Orange
Away: 3 Orange, 2 Navy
Last year's squad used orange as an away color, white as a home color and navy as a no-go. Granted, we didn't have a cool navy uniform until this year, but in general I think orange should be a true alternate for us. Wear white at home vs. red/orange teams, navy on the road vs. red/orange teams and mix in orange as we please when it works!
