Underwood Set to Receive Coaches vs. Cancer Champion Award

As a man who was "too young" for a colonoscopy but had rectal cancer at 40 anyway, I want to say thanks to Coach Underwood, and everyone else who works to shine a spotlight on this disease, in any form.
I was persistent enough to get the care I needed, and it saved my life. 3 years cancer free and counting.

If you have symptoms, or are just at that age, get scoped. Chemotherapy sucks. Radiation hurts. Surgery hurts.

You'll sleep through a colonoscopy, and wake up hungry and tired. That's all.

Get it done my friends.

After the Minnesota game, I thought he was going to get at least 5 to 10 minutes a game going forward. Sadly, did not happen.
I'm no expert but I'm wondering if some of Lieb's early-ish effectiveness this season came from the other team not having much in their scouting report on him. Hard to say because like you said, he didn't play much after those few early-ish games.

He had a few nice blocks, I'll sure miss those. Hopefully we'll get someone who can block shots from the portal.

I support this 💯, glad you got treatment early and effectively and that can't happen if you don't know!

I concur. If you're at that age, or have concerns, git 'er done. The process involves taking a nap under a warm blanket. That's about the scope of it.

Coleman is objectively hilarious. He is willing to speak his mind and keep it real while still keeping it professional (enough, lol).

Listening to Co Hawk since the season ended is making me forgive him for forcing passes or trying to make something out of nothing and turning it over. Clearly very frustrated with the lack of leadership on the court getting the set plays ran.

Said this the other day, I want more Illini in the NBA asap for the good recruiting publicity, but man would I love to have him back one more year

Congratulations on being cancer free for three years. May your counting continue for years and years!

I have my sixth procedure coming up next month. I do it for the propofol. 😳😁

Yeah but they apparently emailed our athletics department?
They're accomplished at intercollegiate communication. Probably attached an interdisciplinary historical/sociological working paper (The American College Sports Coach and Psychopathy: Knute Rockne to Tom Izzo) for Josh's input Our AD is, after all, a true Renaissance Man.
