They’re giving 1,000 points per year of holding season tickets.

Overall, think this is an improvement but seat selection prioritzy should be based on lifetime contribution not annual.
Then we are looking at a scenario where "old money" is all that matters. It would actually create less incentive for younger fans (who are doing financially well and willing to pony up to get better seats) to make solid contributions to the I-Fund (or whatever it will be called). For that reason, I believe you need to start with prioritization to current annual giving and then use lifetime giving as a potential fallback tiebreaker.

My problem with the reseating process is a long-time season ticket holder who has never donated to the IFUND can be leapfrogged by a short-time season ticket holder if the short-time season ticket holder donates at the lowest IFUND level in early 2025.

There is a simple solution for that...especially given how cheap tickets are now.

I am confused why not more season ticket holders donate to the IFUND. The perks of free parking for a $250 donation essentially pays for itself (especially if you have season tickets for both football and basketball).

I'm a football season ticket holder because it's relatively cheap. I'm not local so I make it to a few games and give away the tickets to the games I can't make.

If they increase the price for the same areas AND continue to schedule games on Thursday nights, they will likely drive away a lot of fans who travel for games.

She’s a bit much. And this, coming from someone who throws things….

The ERA documentation says consecutive years as season ticket holder
I don't think student season tickets count. I first got football season tickets as a freshmen, and have maintained them ever since, however my priority points only go back to the first year I got season tickets post graduation.

Off week.

Is anyone else considering upping their donation? If so why?

I am but for the most part it is because I'm currently at a baby$$ level donation and we are at a point in life we can, if we want, contribute more. I'll probably go up to Oskee or so, still nothing that will make anyone bat an eye (which I like). Parking? Not really important, I work a lot of Saturday mornings in the fall and roll in not too far from kickoff. So tailgating isn't our thing now, Lot 31 not needed. I do miss 1 or so games/year because of work.

If possible, I will only slightly upgrade my football seats. I really like where I'm at and so does my wife. It's not a "prime" location, no seat fee involved. I've found the prime locations are jammed with wide load fannies. Plus every seat is taken. I get squished and that's not my thing. I sat at the 50-yard line for KU and stood sideways half the game. And that was with my wife next to me, she's a whopping 130#'s, shhhhhh, I didn't tell anyone.

I don't get basketball tickets but I may ask a friend if they're interested in splitting tickets for 2025 and beyond. I just can't make late night weekday games, except for football, I can't miss those :). The morning punishment is worth it, I'm up by 4:30 am most days.

I ask as I think it's more important that ever to fund your favorite athletics program. Better or worse, it's now a money race.🏇

The donation levels under ERA will increase appreciably. For example, the Oskee donation level will go from $1,000 to $2,500. The new donation levels are on the football season parking page.

Correct, I was just asking what do posters think and what are they going to do.

I wish I had the wherewithal. Those darn Mega Million lotto tickets have yet to pay off......

The tickets themselves are around $41 per game so really not that bad. I've gotten the mobile pass the last couple seasons and that's only $13-14 per game plus the $250 donation that gets you a parking pass for both football and basketball. Definitely not a bad deal.
Curious about where your mobile pass seats were typically located. I bit the bullet and got a pair of season tickets in 225 ( pretty much midcourt)15th row but more like 8 or 9 since this section is shortened. I live in St. Louis so hopefully will be selling some to help recoup.

It really depends on the game but for a lot of conference games they tended to be sideline but pretty close to the top. I think only one game were we behind the basket. Early in the season the seats were lower on the sideline.
