I don't have to worry about things like that happening in South Carolina. When people see me out wearing Illini gear, they just think "what is that sad creature"
Be careful in Orange down there

As a fellow South Carolinian, I beg to differ. I get an ILL shout-out rather routinely (perhaps once a quarter) when out in public. I always respond INI!!!I don't have to worry about things like that happening in South Carolina. When people see me out wearing Illini gear, they just think "what is that sad creature"
Super nice people down in Clemson. We always have a great time down there. As a fellow South Carolinian, I beg to differ. I get an ILL shout-out rather routinely (perhaps once a quarter) when out in public. I always respond INI!!!
My Illini orange attire fits in rather nicely at Clemson football tailgates, too.
O is for Ovaltine we have every morning. S is for stop being a medical doctor coach. K is for K we can do this. E is for Effort and Excellence and Eggs with the Ovaltine. W is for wow there are four W's.Let's settle on a hearty Oskee wow-wow! Seems to be the most uniquely Illini thing to say.
Wouldn't it be more advantageous to go with bigger numbers then? Like, should we run a 66? 6 backs and 6 TEs would be dangerous!I believe it's number of backs and TEs on the field. So 11 would be 1 back, 1 TE. 12 would be 1 back, 2 TE. If I'm wrong, someone correct me
This is great, I really like hearing about our famous alumni being a part of this rebuild. Hoping to hear more from the likes of Mendenhall/Rice/Vontae/George and other Illini greats. Let's start creating a buzz around this new staff.
Sure know how to say all the right things

Agreed. I was as down on him as anybody, but thus far he is making the right moves, saying the right things, and demonstrating overt competency. He's making a favorable impression, which is certainly nice to see.It certainly seems like BB is putting in the work so far. Respect.
Saw this on Twitter. No idea if participating in all-star draft showcase games like this still allows players to return to school afterwards.

I am going to say he is gone. That is complete outside perspective. I believe he is from Florida and Florida State has interest. They are killing it in the transfer portal currently! On a related note, what is Owen Carney's status? Could he come back to Illinois out of the transfer portal, or is he gone?
Isaiah Gay on potentially being a stand-up edge rusher: "It's very exciting." Wants to show off his speed.
Isaiah Gay: DC Ryan Walters "said he's got a game plan that's going to make me a lot of money."
