And Vegas still has no idea what to do with us. I was in Indiana over the weekend and betting Illinois was easier than taking candy from a baby. Even with Devito we were 4.5 point underdogs. I feel like people still won't believe in us against Nebraska and MSU.

If Michigan's only loss is to us, and OSU's only loss is to Michigan, Michigan wins the east based on tiebreaker, no? I.e., we could theoretically get Michigan twice without OSU losing prior to its game against Michigan?

Illinois and Bret Bielema have something special brewing in Champaign, and it starts with a defense ranked first nationally in scoring defense (8.9 points per game). The Fighting Illini (6-1) have been especially hard on opposing passing games. They've allowed just two touchdown passes and collected 12 interceptions. Martin is part of a safety tandem along with Kendall Smith that has been terrific. Martin is second on the team in tackles (33) and has also intercepted two passes.

well, last I checked, the UM players put their pants on one leg at a time. It all going to come down to who wants to win more. If we are 9-1 then and they are 10-0, they will obviously be favored, but not by 14 points.
its not a likely win, at this point in time, but its very possible. If they beat us , they wont beat us like a drum

thanks for posting. yes, red zone offense needs to be cleaned up but we have run a gauntlet of tough defenses and still scored (excepting Iowa and TDV was out). i think offensive numbers will look much better moving forward

Say what you want about Brian Kelly and his time at Notre Dame but by the end of his run one thing he did do was simply find a way to win literally all the games he was supposed to win.
