Always Illini
- Central Illinois
That is probably true but if ego moves aside for a bit one has to see that not making it at Illinois as a QB is a pretty good sign that you are in this sport for the scholarship/NIL money and a great degree from somewhere or to learn how to coach the game as a profession. I know most will decide to transfer rather than stay. That is how it seems to be played out in practice.it’s one thing when you are Isaiah Williams and EVERYONE in college ball at every program has been suggesting you try being a WR instead of QB. But I highly doubt Leary or Swanson or anyone else in our QB room is going to embrace a position change .
They will simply transfer out to a program that will give them a better chance at playing .
