It is becoming pretty likely that Illini lose to 4 new B1G West coaches this season. Who had that on Bingo card heading into season?
Looking like 4 wins is the new ceiling for this team. Simply disastrous season given the favorable B1G schedule and preseason expectations.
Unless the offense makes a turnaround, 2 or 3 wins is not out of question. Simply can't win only scoring 7 points and a nonexistent run game.

Very clear this is not a P2 quality staff. Ultimately, this all falls on Bielema because he decided to surround himself with his buddies instead of finding the best guys for the job.
I saw in the post game people acting like Lunney will be fired. LOL. Lunney was the first coach Bielema hired in Arkansas he’s not getting fired. He chose Aaron Henry over the DC in waiting Kane because he’s known Henry since he was a teenager, and he likes Henry’s “voice” for the team.
I get it some people here are gonna root for whoever is steering the ship because that’s how they define their fandom, and that’s fine. There are insiders here who are part of the DIA and they’re going to defend their own, and that’s fine.
This administration top to bottom is not P2 bottom line. There might be some key pieces that belong at this level but it’s clear many don‘t.

we took the opening kickoff that game down for a long drive and in for a score, and the offense has been pure luck and horsecrap ever since

I admittedly can't stomach to watch .ugh of this season, but elzy has only played in 2 games it appears. Hurt? Not ready? Not capable?

I believe I heard he’s not been blocking well and the coaches aren’t having it. Also I don’t think I’ve seen much of him since he dropped that wide open pass a few games back.
I'll watch, but this season is dead to me.
I'm proud Toledo scored 28. It's not like the Illini Defense has been the issue. 5-1 is the start UT fans expected.
